We are very grateful to Warwickshire County Council Green Shoots Fund for the £1968 grant towards the LED lighting that has been installed in the church.  We have also replaced the lighting in the annexe.  Many people have commented on the improvement in the quality of the new lighting, which will be considerably cheaper to run and also better for the environment.

Ansley Village Church Hall

We have now had hand dryers installed in the hall toilets.  This will reduce the need for paper towels that can so often create a mess.  The dryers will be more hygienic and we have been told that they are better for the environment.  At the same time the hall lights were changed to LED bulbs.  We have also had the kitchen and toilets decorated and the end wall painted.  The work has improved the appearance of the hall but unfortunately the end wall has been damaged already.

We will also be installing two new radiators at the end where the stage used to be.  The supply pipes will have a larger dimension which will ensure a more even distribution of heat around the hall.

The work mentioned here was partly funded by a grant from Big Local, so we thank them for contributing towards keeping the hall in a good state and improving it for its users.

Party in the Park

The church will be present at the Party in the Park on Sunday 16th June in Ansley Recreation Ground.  There will be plants and games, leaflets and a display.  If you would like to help with this, please have a word with one of the wardens.

Britain in Bloom

We would like to thank the Village Gardening Group for the work done in the churchyard and at the Village Church Hall ready for judging on 19th June.  It is a great improvement.

The defibrillator, fixed to the front of the hall, is now available for use, although we hope it won’t be needed.  It has been installed by Big Local and will be maintained by the Parish Council.

Prayer Requests

If you would like someone or a particular situation to be remembered in prayer, please make contact with the church by email or phone one of the numbers on the front cover.
