Memories of 50 years ago
19 Aug 15
During the Flower Festival this year we will be remembering especially our first festival back in 1965 there will be a small display of early photographs, newspaper cuttings and other items of items of interest. Also the Sunday evening service will take the form of a Songs of Praise fixed around traditional evensong. The hymns chosen are the favourites of some of those people who worked so hard for the event in the 1960s.
Everyone is welcome and there will be the chance of a cuppa in the annexe after. Everyone welcome.
